INFORMATION PHILOSOPHY IN UCIL
The
Right to Information Act, 2005 has been enacted on 15th
June, 2005 for setting out the practical regime of Right to
Information for the citizen of India to secure access to
information under the control of Public Authorities in order to
promote transparency and accountability in the working of the
every Public Authority.
UCIL [ An

corporate citizen and a Public Authority under the administrative
control of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India
believes in practicing good corporate governance, attaining
maximum level of transparency, accountability and equity in all
aspects of its operations and in all its interactions with its
employees, government, bankers, society at large etc. and also
believes in providing access to information under control to the
citizens of India under the provisions of the Right to Information
Act, 2005 subject to the restriction on disclosure of information
under Section-18 of the Atomic Energy Act, 1962 and orders issued
by the Government of India on this behalf from time to time.
